Biography

Jacke Mathieson lives in a small village dating back to the 17th Century at the head of ‘The Marches’, a broad strip of hills and lands which extend southward from the city of Chester, and along the historic border between the ‘old enemies’ of England and Wales.

Jacke’s equestrian heritage is long and distinguished. A successful show jumper as a child, Jacke later went on to show horses and again to win at National level.

Her interest and involvement now covers all aspects of breeding and competition – supporting and assisting talented local riders and teams, whilst also providing leading stud services from her beautiful Oakdale facility.

Jacke’s impressive black breeding stallion ‘Wolkenderry’ – featured in many of the photographs on this site – is already gaining an enviable reputation in both the UK and Europe.
